Leys Castle is a great location to capitalise on a range of nearby snowsports. Whether it is the thrill of downhill skiing or snowboarding or the challenge of cross country, the Highlands has a range of winter sports opportunities.

From Cairngorm Mountain itself which has a modern funicular railway and lift system to The Lecht and Glenshee, there is a snowsports resort to suit everyone in the Cairngorms National Park - the largest National Park in the UK.

Nevis Range and Glencoe Mountain, both near Fort William are other options that can each be tackled in a day's drive from Leys Castle.
