Walking

Munros, Corbetts or simple Glen Walks - we have a challenge for everyone.

The Highlands and Islands of Scotland has a wealth of great walking - much of it is right on the doorstep of Leys castle.

Bracing walks along many of the great beaches like those at Nairn, the Black Isle or further afield on the West Coast are available. Whether it's spring, summer, autumn or winter, the experince is different every time.

Keen walkers have a choice of waymarked local routes to dramatic mountain treks and everything in between.

The UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, is only a two hour drive away and dozens of Munros (peaks over 3,000ft) are available in and around the Cairngorms National Park. Corbetts (peaks over 2,500ft) can be as challenging as Munros.

We can advise on where to go depending on your interest and ability. Sometimes a guide can help you get to places you may not manage on your own and we can arrange someone to show you the hidden walking gems of the Highlands.
